Trichostema lanatum x purpusii - Midnight Magic

The result is a compact evergreen shrub with dark aromatic foliage and showy purple flowers held with long, curving stamens.

Also known as Midnight Magic woolly blue curls, this unusual native-style perennial shrub blooms over a long season from spring through fall. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and other pollinators are drawn to the vivid flowers, while gardeners appreciate the more manageable habit, growing about 3–5' tall and wide.
