Also known as California aster or silver carpet lessingia, it forms a dense, weed-suppressing mat only a few inches tall while spreading 3' or more across, making it a fabulous choice for parking strips, dry garden beds, slopes, pathway edges, and coastal plantings.
Summer into fall brings a sweet show of 1" lavender daisy flowers on short stems, adding soft color above the silvery carpet.
